Convener of #RevolutionNow and Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), in the last election has said the Supreme Court which reversed the sack of governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State did that out of fear.

This is coming after the apex court in a landmark ruling set aside the controversial judgements of Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal and that of the Court of Appeal, which declared APC candidate Nasiru Gawuna as the winner of February poll. Read More…

Delivering ruling on Friday, the chairman of the panel headed by Justice John Okoro, returned Mr Yusuf’s 165,616 votes, which the lower court had invalidated and deducted from the votes cast in his favour.
