The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced palliatives to assuage the effect of fuel subsidy removal.
Sanwo-Olu said beginning from Wednesday, there will be a reduction in Lagos bus fares by 50%.
He also mentioned a 25% cut in yellow bus fares, which will formally be announced by the Parks Management Committee.
Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on New Media, Jubril Gawat announced this through his official Twitter handle.
He said, “FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu has announced Palliatives to cushion the effect of the Fuel subsidy removal:
“- 50% reduction on Lagos Buses from Wednesday.
