I will be very brief.
I have taken time to analyse the costs vs benefits of having Mr(s) Bola Tinubu as President of Nigeria and unfortunately have come to the sad conclusion that having Mr(s) Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu as President of Nigeria is a bad business case for Nigeria.
It is a bad business case because the costs exceed the benefits and as we say in portfolio management, we terminate any initiative where the costs exceed the benefits.
In this case, termination means resignation for Bola Tinubu, in order that Nigeria and Nigerians may breathe. Continue Reading…
I promised i will be brief and i will keep my promise.
I appeal to Bola Adekunle Tinubu to resign before the SC judgement for the following 2 key reasons;
- Moral
The controversies surrounding Bola Tinubu as President of Nigeria is undermining national development and is a huge distraction for all.
The ligitation in Nigeria and USA has put Nigeria in limelight for the wrong reasons.
This is not about whether Mr Tinubu is guilty or innocent of forgery or identity theft.
It is about the distraction and impediment to national development, foreign direct investment and our moral compass as a nation.
Guilty or innocent, Mr Tinubu should step aside in order that Nigeria and Nigerians can breathe.
- Incompetence
In 4 months in Government, Mr Tinubu has shown gross incompetence in the management of state affairs. The economy is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with no doctors and surgeons present.
The performance of Bola Tinubu as President has been below expectations to those that were expectant and for some, the performance so far was as expected and no surprises.
Closing:
As a patriotic citizen of Nigeria, and for the 2 key reasons mentioned above, I beg Mr Bola Tinubu, in the name of God Almighty, to submit his letter of resignation as President of Nigeria before 12 midnight GMT, 26 October 2023.
Should Mr Bola Tinubu not resign as advised, I turn to Justice John Inyang Okoro et al to apply the law on 26 October 2023.
In applying the law, Justice Okoro should also not forget to apply “morality” in his judgment.
As we look forward to the application of the law, we expect to also see the application of morality.
Will Nigeria rediscover her moral compass on 26 October, 2023? Continue Reading…
Time will tell, and that time is around the corner.
An independent submission by Olufemi Adegbulugbe, a member of Federalist Majority, a pro Nigeria Movement.
