The ongoing Governorship election in Kogi state has kicked of on a very disturbing note as suspected officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC were caught with pre-recorded result sheets even when voting is yet to commence.
YIAGA Africa, one of the accredited observers raised alarm of the proliferation of the pre-filled result sheet in PU 020, Eika/Ohizenyi, Okehi LGA of Kogi state.

Also, the PDP candidate in the election, Dino Melaye has also raised alarm that all the result sheets has have been filled and called on his agents and voters in the state to reject the anomaly and protest until the “compromised” INEC Officials show them a plain result sheet. Continue Reading…
