By Theo Rays On Divine Illumination On Africa
As a Christian, I believe that creations and current level of civilisation which is on the high side plus Jesus Christ put together makes the world an advanced “whole of possibilities”.
Clearly, from ages human beings except in places like Africa, Nigeria and Igboland particularly have used creations and civilization to build and advance into possibilities.
Yes, Africans have failed to utilise creation and civilization plus Jesus Christ for possibilities. That’s why we are facing teething challenges of insecurity, corruption, poverty, joblessness and hunger etc. Reason for the failure of Africa in this regard not far fetched.
And that is the fact that we are building things that cannot build us.
Take for instance, since 1999 till date Nigerians have spend huge resources on building political leadership since the return of democracy in the country but the situation of things in the country 24years shows political leadership cannot build Nigerians.
That’s why we are facing teething challenges.
The same scenario plays out in other sectors like religion and education.
The amount of resources we spend on religion and education as Nigerians and Ndigbo is not worth it because the types of religion and education we practice have failed to spiritualise, civilise and build us into possibilities.
Religion and education are to prepare and equip people to utilise creation and civilization to penetrate the world, manipulate and dominate the world but Africans have to use creation and civilization to penetrate the world not to talk of manipulating and dominating.
That’s why we are facing teething challenges.
We have to retreat and change the change the game.
All of us have failed woefully in politics, religion and education so we have to go back to the drawing board to change the game because we cannot continue to do things the same way and expect change. We have to change the game by doing the followings.
(1) Seek leadership beyond politics with fresh dealings on religion and education. The greatest problems facing Africa, Nigerians and Ndigbo is our believe in political leadership as the platform to solve problems. Continue Reading…
Clearly, yes because since independent in 1960 Nigerians and Ndigbo have continued to fight and die for political leadership with no solution to our problems in sight.
In fact the quest to lay hands on political leadership is the greatest problem we are facing today as Nigerians and Ndigbo. Unknown to us that the failure of religion and education is worse than failure of political leadership.
The failure of political leadership is consequent upon ignorant of the roles of religion and education. Religion and education are to equip people for possibilities to be good and responsible before God, man, the law and order and to achieve possibilities to work and earn a living fruitfully.
Similarly, the greatest impact of any leadership is to achieve possibilities to make people good and responsible before God, man, the law, order and to work and earn a living fruitfully.
That is what we have to target and achieve with religion and education. All these bogus arrangements about political leadership with fighting and killings and wasting of resources not necessary at all.
(2) Seek fresh relationships and fresh works socially and economically
Humanity is driven by relationship and works. Nigerians and Ndigbo lack enough relationship and enough works.
Take for instance, at this age of globalization in Igboland no strong agriculture work, no football work in particular and sports in general, no media work except FM Radio stations and no technology work to mention but a few.
Thats why we are facing teething challenges. In most cases we are revolving around the relationship and works we inherited from our fathers and native land.
One major causes of the problems we have as Africans, Nigerians and Ndigbo is our failure or inability to see ourselves beyond our native land as Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, etc.
(3) Humble ourselves and place value and respect in what others do with a view to learn, collaborate, partner and even unite for effectiveness
Most Christian Churches are arrogant, pride and lone rangers who do not care about what other Churches and other religious denominations do.
Some tribes in Nigeria have the same arrogant and pride mentality of not placing value and respect in what others do. Nobody have the monopoly of knowledge, so we have to place value and respect in what others do as individuals, communities, organisations, etc.
(4) Endeavour to also know and not just to follow
Possibility is mainly a product of knowledge. The greatest problems facing Nigeria and Ndigbo is that we expect results from what other people are doing.
The worst is that some people are following the past, following frivolous issues visioj of others, projection of others, gifts and talents of others, titles of others and positions of others etc That’s why we are facing teething challenges.
Conclusion
To connect Africans, Nigerians and Ndigbo into the message of possibilities, I am running a tripartite Christian program tagged “Greater Africa Prayer Movement, Greater Nigeria Prayer Movement and Greater Igbo Advancement Prayer Movement”.
Join me and get involved in functions of possibilities. We have spent much time waiting and expecting results from what others are doing to no avail.
Let’s come on board and change the game to the glory of God. Bring your ideas, knowledge and connections let’s join hands to overrun the devil and his agents in no distance time and fix our lovely continent, our blessed country and our dearest Igboland in Jesus name Amen.
Connect your Church, family, village, town, tribe, State, region and country into the Prayer Movement and let’s build into what can build and advance us into possibilities.
Main takeaway:
The greatest impact of any leadership is to achieve possibiilities to make people good and responsible before God, man, law and order and to work and earn a living fruitfully. That we can achieve with religion and education. All these bogus arrangement for political leadership with fighting and killings and wasting of resources not necessary. Continue Reading…
