Who is Wado

Onierhorovwo Valentino Agunu (born February 15th, 1987), known professional as WADO is a Nigerian/Italian singer, rapper and song writer.

Onierho Agunu was born is Rome, Italy to his Uhrobo parents from Delta State Nigeria. His father a pharmacist and mother managed several business as a businesswoman.

Onierho lived in Rome, Italy up until the age of 13 years when his family relocated to Festac Town Lagos, Nigeria.

He attended Ekpe Comprehensive Secondary school where he learned English and became acquainted with his Nigerian roots. He later attended St. Judes Secondary School and TenderTouch College where he completed his secondary education before relocating back to Rome at the age of 17.

Onierho began playing the flute at the age of 9. He discovered his love for writing music jokingly with his peers in secondary school.

Onierho was initially musically influenced by Sisqo, Ma$e and the legendary Fela Kuti. He continued to explore his love for music while in Italy and never stopped.

Onierho choose the name WADO due to culture background as an Urhobo. WADO means “well done”.
