The JAMB 2020 UTME/DE registration is expected to commence on Monday, January 13th, 2020.
To ensure candidates get their minds prepared for the registration, we have provided few things candidates need to know before the registration commences.
Seven (7) Things To Know Before JAMB Registration Begins;
1. Candidates must have obtained NIN before he/she will be registered for either UTME or DE. For details on how to get your NIN, CLICK HERE.
After a candidate has obtained his NIN, assuming it is 1234567890, each candidate will be required to create a profile code through his mobile number by sending an SMS in the format “NIN 1234567890” and send it to 55019.
After sending the SMS, you would receive a confirmation message with your PROFILE CODE, and the full name used to register your NIN.
The PROFILE CODE is what will be required for you to purchase the 2020 UTME/DE registration e-pin.
If you encounter any error in your biodata, candidates are to seek correction from any NIMC office.
3. JAMB 2020 Official Price/Cost will be as follows; UTME/DE form is N3,500, Reading text is N500, CBT service charge is N700.
4. ONLY ONE mobile number can be used by one candidate to register for the exam.
5. Candidates who have registered for JAMB before can use former email addresses to register provided it is to be used by the same candidate and with the same data.
6. You will be required to upload your O’level results during the registration. So ensure you get them ready before the registration commences.
7. Please be warned that Cyber cafés are not allowed to register candidates for the UTME/DE.
Candidates are advised to only do their registrations at accredited JAMB CBT Centres.
