The labour leaders had set a Monday deadline for finalizing discussions on the new minimum wage.

The President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, along with other senior union representatives, traveled abroad to attend a labor conference hosted by the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

The labour leaders will convene their National Executive Council meeting upon their return from Geneva to make a decision regarding the strike, taking into account the input from the President. Continue Reading…
