Man Utd haven’t been in the greatest form in the Premier League this season despite sitting eighth in the table. The Red Devils have won five and lost five of their 10 league matches, and fell to a 3-0 defeat to rivals Manchester City at the weekend.
Newcastle, meanwhile, are unbeaten in seven domestic games since a three-match losing streak at the start of the season. It was eight unbeaten across all competitions but that came to an end last week with a 1-0 home loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
