FG Unveils Redesigned Naira Notes To General Public (Photos)

The Redesigned Naira Notes have been unveiled to the public by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
It was unveiled at the Federal Executive Council Meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari a few minutes ago on Twitter.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele warned Nigerians against holding of the old notes, saying there is no going back on the January 31st 2023 deadline to completely render the old notes useless.
He also said the new notes would go into circulation before the December 15, 2022 date earlier stated by the central bank.

The redesigned notes are in denomination ₦1000, ₦500 and ₦200.
