CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele Joins Presidential Race

Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has picked the All Progressives Congress, APC nomination form to contest the 2023 presidential election.

Reports says Emefiele had announced his presidential ambition at the State House, Abuja, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Emefiele picked his N100 million nomination form of the ruling party, APC as he left the state house on Friday and is expected to publicly declare his intention on Saturday.

It was gathered that Emefiele’s associates paid N100million for the nomination and expression of interest forms on Friday, at the International Conference Center, Abuja venue of the sale of forms.
