Again, Terror Bandits Attack Zamfara College of Technology, Abduct Many Students

Many students have been reportedly abducted by bandits in Tsafe town, the headquarters of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Sahara Reporters quoting multiple sources said the rampaging bandits, raided Tsafe town on Tuesday night and abducted scores of students of the College of Health Technology, including females living off-campus.

“The victims were mostly female students,” one of the sources noted.

This is coming after the armed group last week, stormed Tsafe and killed three persons, including the son of Mamman Tsafe, the Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs in Zamfara and a retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).

Meanwhile, there has been spike in Kidnapping for ransom in Northern Nigeria, where hundreds have been abducted.

Zamfara, which is one of the most affected states, has witnessed a string of kidnappings and ruthless killings since the coming of the present administration of president Muhammedu Buhari.
