These days a low JAMB score does not necessarily mean that you cannot gain admission into a Federal or State University.

Interestingly, many Federal and State Universities in the last few years have reduced their cut off marks.

So with many of these schools bringing their cut-off marks down to 160, many candidates with low JAMB scores still have a good chance of securing admission.

The purpose of this post is to make it easier for candidates with low JAMB scores (160 and above) to be able to know federal and state universities that can accept them for Post-UTME screening exercise.

Some top polytechnics usually set 150 as their cut-off marks.

So if you scored up to 160, you will have a high chance of securing admission in a polytechnic especially if you chose them as your first choice.
