However, the relief of his release comes with a steep price: the agency has confiscated his passport. They have also mandated that he provide his Nigerian address and a reliable phone number, ensuring they can reach him at any moment, as reported by Premium Times.

“I have just been released by the DSS (SSS) in Lagos,” Soyinka shared in a text message to Premium Times.
