ASUU STRIKE SAGA: WHAT ASUU SAID ABOUT IPPIS.
The Academic staff union of universities ASUU on Monday said that its members have been rejecting to migrate to the integrated personal payroll information system (IPPIS) since 2013. Dr. Aniekan Brown, coordinator, ASUU Calabar Zone, disclosed it during a press conference in Calabar.
The last meeting was held on Wednesday last week which ended in a deadlock. ASSU said the union is ready to resume work only if the government is ready to play its part well.
Recall that on March 23 Asuu went on an industrial action against the government for not adhering to the union.
