Veteran Nollywood actor, Columbus Irosanga, renowned for his portrayal of a native doctor, has passed away.

His death was announced on Instagram on Thursday by fellow actor, Hilda Dokubo.

In her tribute, Dokubo wrote, “There can’t be a shortage of angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this! This loss is profoundly felt in the Uniport Rivers State Nollywood community.” Continue Reading…

She also captioned her post, “Our uncle Coli #colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the Lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu.”

Irosanga, a native of Okrika, Rivers State, was not only a distinguished actor but also a senior lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt.

His most notable film roles include Issakaba (2003) and 7 Kilometre (2015).
