The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) revealed a staggering ₦13 billion in government funds was stolen in September 2024 alone.

This alarming information was shared by ICPC Chairman, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, during the launch of the commission’s 2024-2028 Strategic Action Plan (SAP) in Abuja.

“In the past year, the ICPC has made significant strides in fulfilling its mission. Notably, we recovered over ₦13 billion in misappropriated public funds just in September 2024.”

To bolster its enforcement capabilities, the ICPC is developing a specialized training curriculum for its personnel. This initiative aims to equip officers with the necessary skills and expertise to tackle corruption cases effectively and professionally.
