The Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP) has ordered the arrest of Wang Yilin, the former Chairman of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), on suspicion of bribery.

This announcement was made by the SPP on Wednesday.

Following the conclusion of an investigation conducted by the National Commission of Supervision, he will undergo examination and prosecution, according to the SPP.
