The prosecution and the defence in the treasonable felony trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu have re-energized their legal teams.
While the prosecuting team is being led by Adegboyega Awomolo who is replacing David Kaswe, a lawyer with the Federal Ministry of Justice, the defence team is now being headed by P. A. M. Ejiofor, who replaced Mike Ozekhome (SAN). Continue Reading…
This is coming after the leadership of the separatist movement sacked Ifeanyi Ejiofor and others who have been in the forefront of the case.
Nnamdi Kanu who is currently being detained in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), has been brought to court this morning, ahead of the commencement of proceedings.
