Explosion

There was palpable tension in the city of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State on Tuesday night as unexplained explosion rocked some parts of the city.

Though, the cause of the explosion at the time of filing this report is still sketchy.

The explosion reportedly affected filling stations, malls, fast food outlets and residential building.

In a video shared online, a pick-up van with inscription Bodija Patrol Service was seen conveying corpses.

At least three bodies were seen inside the van.

“Jesus! Jesus!” a male voice was heard screaming as people gathered in groups to discuss the incident.

A residential building was said to have caved in at Eleyele part of the ancient city, leaving residents trapped.
