Dangote refinery has announced that it will commence the production and sale of Automotive Gas Oil and JetA1 or aviation fuel in January 2024.

The $19 billion refinery require a minimum of six million barrels of crude oil to begin full production of refined petroleum products such as AGO, PMS, Jet A1 and Dual Purpose Kerosene, often known as kerosene.

Recall that the refinery last week received one million barrels of crude with the remaining five million barrels expected to arrive in five installments over the next five weeks.
