President Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the rest of ECOWAS leaders
Following the suspension of Niger Republic from African Union—AU, President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with some key stakeholders of the regional bloc—ECOWAS in Abuja.
AU on Tuesday afternoon suspended the former French colony from the union after the military authorities in July removed President Mohamed Bazoum from office.
Meanwhile, present at the ongoing meeting are the President of the ECOWAS Commission, Omar Touray; leader of the ECOWAS delegation to Niger Republic’s military junta, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. Continue Reading…
