US army shipping weapons to Ukraine
The United States will spend over $2 billion to purchase new military equipment for Ukraine.
It will also send about $500 million in equipment from its stockpile, according to multiple media reports, citing US officials.
The $500 million worth of aid will come directly from the US arsenal to prepare Ukraine for the much-speculated-about new offensive push, expected to be launched later this Spring.
According to many experts and international officials, the upcoming push by Kiev might be one of the most decisive moments in the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
