As former governor of Anambra State,Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife is laid to rest today in his Igboukwu home town, Aguata council area of Anambra State , the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed sadness that its group will miss his fatherly advice .

He said “Dr Ezeife, the former governor of Anambra state, was among Igbo elders and leaders who contributed immensely for the welfare and well-being of Ndigbo since the independence of Nigeria up to date and maintained that he will always be remembered by Ndigbo.

“He contributed and fought gallantly for Ndigbo and was a suporter of the recent agitation for Biafra restoration.

“Dr. Ezeife normally gave IPOB members advice. He told IPOB members to be peaceful in their quest for Biafra freedom.
