An army sergeant identified as Jidean Samson has been crushed to death by a passenger train at the railway crossing in Lagos.
News Band Newspaper gathered that the said train was en route to Iddo in Lagos from Ibadan when it eventually collided with the soldier who wanted to cross the rail line on his bike.
An eyewitness confirmed that the deceased was attached to the 9th Brigade in Ikeja, Lagos.
The 9th Brigade military has confirmed the death of Samson. It said his body has been moved to the Military Hospital mortuary in Yaba, Lagos.
